Brown & Brown of Lehigh Valley Personal Lines Team Place in 2020PL/SCL Sales Contest

Rachel Nardella, Michelle Millinger and Jessica Kohutka from the Personal Lines team at Brown & Brown of Lehigh Valley placed in the top eight for the 2020 National Personal Lines/Small Commercial Lines Contest.  The contest started in January of 2020 and finished the week of June 8th. On a weekly basis each producer was paired with other producer in either personal lines or small commercial lines. They were assigned points based on new business policies written and at the end of each week points were totaled based off the number of new business policies written. Each week the producer pairings changed, and even while working remotely, the team prevailed.

BARBARA CORLE, SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER, RETIRES FROM B&B OF LEHIGH VALLEY AFTER 48 YEARS

Barb pic 300x203 - BARBARA CORLE, SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER, RETIRES FROM B&B OF LEHIGH VALLEY AFTER 48 YEARSBarbara Corle, Senior Account Manager at Brown & Brown of Lehigh Valley, will retire on June 26th after 48 years with the firm.  Ms. Corle started with BS&W after high school and as part of an acquisition in 2000, became part of the Brown & Brown team.

What was supposed to be a summer job turned into a successful career in the insurance industry after college plans fell through and she was offered a full-time position with BS&W.  Barbara enjoyed the challenging environment and was very engaged with her customers.  “For me, the customers were the best part, especially the long-term ones.  I really got to know them and their businesses” said Ms. Corle.barb pic 2 279x300 - BARBARA CORLE, SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER, RETIRES FROM B&B OF LEHIGH VALLEY AFTER 48 YEARS

“Barbara is a very dedicated and trustworthy teammate.  She will be truly missed by all at the office, including by her customers,” says Mat Burtt, President of Brown & Brown of Lehigh Valley.

Although her day-to-day will be different, Barbara is looking forward the next phase of her life.  As soon as the COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, she would like to volunteer at various organizations, including her local Habitat for Humanity ReStore. Barbara is truly looking forward to adopting a rescue dog that will be trained as a certified therapy dog, and she hopes to finally get her flower and vegetable gardens flourishing again at her New Jersey home.
