Brown & Brown of Lehigh Valley has promoted Lisa Bellis to senior vice president of risk management and loss control Services. Lisa joined the Brown & Brown team in September 2014 and has over 32 years of experience in commercial property and casualty insurance. Her extensive industry experience across all property and casualty insurance and risk management has improved customers’ financial and legal positions with their subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
Lisa holds the following insurance designations and certifications – Associate in Risk Management, Certified Safety Manager, Certified Insurance Counselor, Construction Risk & Insurance Specialist and many others, including Authorized OSHA Outreach Instructor, Certified Forklift Instructor and National Safety Council Defensive Driving Instructor, and is currently pursuing the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters designation.
She recently received the Certified Praesidium Guardian designation. During the certification process, she was required to develop an Impact Project. Lisa utilized the foundational model established by Praesidium’s Safety Equation® to develop RAAMP it UP™ (Raising Awareness on Abuse & Molestation Prevention). RAAMP it Up!™ is an exclusive program used to gather information on an organization’s existing abuse prevention practices to uncover deficiencies. The program is based on strategies requiring accountability, actionable items, and a pledge of commitment.
“Lisa Bellis is a valuable member of the Lehigh Valley office, especially with our Health & Human Services customers. The Certified Praesidium Guardian designation she acquired will help us to serve these customers and their vulnerable populations at the highest level. Lisa’s attention to detail is unsurpassed, and this promotion is well deserved,” said Mat Burtt, president, Brown & Brown of Lehigh Valley.
Lisa has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Albright College, an Associate degree in Business Management from Lehigh Carbon Community College, and will graduate with her MBA from Moravian University in December 2021. She is a long-time resident of the Lehigh Valley where she remains active in the community.
