Barbara Corle, Senior Account Manager at Brown & Brown of Lehigh Valley, will retire on June 26th after 48 years with the firm. Ms. Corle started with BS&W after high school and as part of an acquisition in 2000, became part of the Brown & Brown team.
What was supposed to be a summer job turned into a successful career in the insurance industry after college plans fell through and she was offered a full-time position with BS&W. Barbara enjoyed the challenging environment and was very engaged with her customers. “For me, the customers were the best part, especially the long-term ones. I really got to know them and their businesses” said Ms. Corle.
“Barbara is a very dedicated and trustworthy teammate. She will be truly missed by all at the office, including by her customers,” says Mat Burtt, President of Brown & Brown of Lehigh Valley.
Although her day-to-day will be different, Barbara is looking forward the next phase of her life. As soon as the COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, she would like to volunteer at various organizations, including her local Habitat for Humanity ReStore. Barbara is truly looking forward to adopting a rescue dog that will be trained as a certified therapy dog, and she hopes to finally get her flower and vegetable gardens flourishing again at her New Jersey home.
